Todays BOOTHCAST is with Luke Hallam from Ocean Heroes Australia. Luke tells us his story on how his comminity work began and how he wants to educate more people on the effects of Autism Spectrum Disorders with his team. Luke grew up on the beaches in Perth and had a love for the ocean. After working in the gym as a PT he noticed that Autistic children didnt have the opportunity to learn ocean skills and from then on he wanted to help them get the same opportunities he had. OHA takes children surfing and the effect on the kids and everyone involved is immense. He gives us insight into how he has used prone and SUP paddling to raise awareness and educate more people about Autism. Thanks Luke for your time 🙂
